You’ll be the go-to person for practical legal advice that helps us move fast and stay on the right track.

Take ownership
As our Legal Counsel, you will:
- Advise on products and regulations: work closely with our product teams to identify key legal and regulatory implications early, and find clear, workable solutions.
- Support with contracts and partnerships: review and draft agreements that enable bunq’s growth while managing legal risk in a pragmatic way.
- Keep us ready for what’s next: monitor changes in financial regulation and help translate them into actionable steps for bunq.
This challenge is perfect for you if
- Broad legal experience: you’re a generalist who can easily switch between contracts, product advice, and regulatory topics.
- Background in banking or finance: you understand the regulatory environment and how authorities like DNB or AFM operate.
- You know how to turn complex legal requirements into clear, useful guidance for the business.
- You’re proactive, eager to learn, and always looking for better ways to work.
- You explain legal topics in a way everyone can understand.
- You have a Master’s degree in Law.
- It’s a plus if you speak Dutch 🇳🇱
