As a Product Manager FinOps you can make a difference
Within the Domain Tech 4 Data & Analytics you will work in the centre of the data driven enterprise.
As a FinOps and Sustainability Product Manager you manage in optimizing cloud costs and promoting sustainability within the Rabobank. You ensure financial transparency and help make data-driven. Additionally, you collaborate with sustainability teams to reduce the carbon footprint of IT operations. This includes using tools and data to report and optimize carbon emissions. This role is crucial in harmonizing technological advancement with environmental goals.
Responsibilities, Experience and Competences

We don’t look for the sheep with the 5 legs. We believe that if you are a good Product Manager FinOps you are capable to work as a specialist and generalist. There is absolutely no need to tick all of below mentioned boxes but it gives you an idea of which topics are important to us:
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize cloud spending, which is largely formed by the GenAI business cases.
- Manage the scaling of GenAI with regard to sustainability and cloud usage.
- Develop and implement strategies for measuring sustainability.
- Set up approaches for tracking costs with regard to use cases and define opportunities for optimization.
- Set up a reporting structure to monitor and report on costs and sustainability.
- Communicate frequently with (new) end users and other stakeholders to create awareness about cost management and sustainability.
- Analyze the architecture to identify and implement optimizations for costs and sustainability
Experience
- Experience in cost management and cloud spend.
- Knowledge of sustainability and energy management.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with architecture analysis.
- Excellent communication skills for creating awareness and reporting to stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and implement strategies that optimize costs and sustainability.
