The Digital Risk & Resilience team consists of enthusiastic and motivated professionals! Our range of Consulting services may be summarized as Process & Controls, Digital Risk, and Resilience and are provided to established companies and companies undergoing a digital transformation.
Responsibilities – How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?
- Identifying, evaluating and treating Data Governance and Data Management risks and providing expert advice and guidance to clients for improving Data Governance and Data Management.
- Adopt our unique methodology to support the successful design and implementation of Data Governance / Data management frameworks and controls
- Conducting Data Governance & Management maturity assessments and gap analysis and advice our clients how to achieve their target maturity.
- Assess and embed the application of legal and regulatory requirements to clients Data Management practices.
- Execute the data management workstream during digital transformations we deliver at our clients and Continuous development of our Data Governance, Risk and Controls services.
Job requirements – Where do you start if you want to change the world?
- Finished a Bachelor or Master study in the field of Data Analytics, Data Science, (Business) Information Management, Computer Science, Informatics, or another technical/quantitative field.
- At least three years of relevant experience in the field of Data Management/Data Governance, and Business intelligence & analytics. Experience in risk management is preferred.
- Proven experience with implementing, adopting, and exercising data governance and management. Candidates are preferred with experience in maturity assessments, gap analysis, roadmap to maturity and strategic deliverables (e.g., Governance policy, organizational models, processes, roles and responsibilities, Data Quality guidelines design, implementation, and execution).
- Knowledge of Data Management frameworks (ex. DAMA, DCAM, COBIT, BCBS239). Qualification is preferred.
- Fluent in English and preferably Dutch.

- Sabbatical: the option to take unpaid leave after consultation.
- Birth leave: EY will pay 100% of the birth leave; in the case of additional birth leave, EY will pay 70% of the salary.

Recruitment procedure – How can you prepare for a long life together?
The application process consists of a telephone screening, a skills and personality test, and two interviews.
Due to laws and regulations, and because EY (and in some cases its clients) has high demands on the reliability and integrity of its employees, every new employee will be screened. Depending on your rank the pre-employment screening could contain the following: Certificate of Conduct (in Dutch: VOG) or - if requesting a Dutch VOG is not possible - Criminal Background Check of the country you are currently living or have lived during the last five years, integrity questionnaire, verification of ID, diploma’s and/or work experience and consultation of the Dutch insolvency registry.
