Teamlead Compliance Operations (Dutch speaking & living in the Netherlands)
Exact wants to empower their accountants and small and medium sized entities by delivering them real-time insights on their financial situation and allowing them flexible and immediate payments from Exact products. To this end Exact Payment Services (EPS) delivers payment initiation and account information services to Exact’s customers. To ensure that we continuously comply with our compliance requirements, EPS is looking for a Team Lead Compliance Operations. As a Team Lead Compliance Operations, you will be managing the Compliance Operations team of EPS. Given its expertise on customer due diligence, this team is also responsible for the due diligence and continuous monitoring of the group’s business relations.

You will be managing the Compliance Operations team of EPS. To this end you will develop, lead, and inspire the team, determine how to achieve clearly defined short to medium term objectives, and monitor and report on service levels and key performance indicators.
You will also:
- Identify and implement efficiency opportunities in current policies, procedures, and processes,
- Review key control execution for correctness and completeness,
- Own the improvement roadmap together with our Technology department, and
- Coordinate the internal and external audit processes.
The Compliance Operations team consists of two sub-teams: 7 employees for the payment service activities and 2 employees for the compliance activities for the group. You will functionally report to the Director Governance Risk & Control and Exact Payment Services.
This = what you bring
- Minimum five years’ experience with customer due diligence and/or transaction monitoring processes of which 2 years in a leading role or experience in a Team lead position within Exact
- Proven track record with process evaluation and redesign and execution of efficiency roadmaps,
- Higher education (bachelor, preferably master) degree in Law or economics or similar knowledge obtained based on work experience
- Your personal profile is characterized by qualities of curiosity, discretion, objectivity, and professionalism.
- You are fluent in Dutch (verbal and written) and have advanced English skills
