The FEC Tech sanction detection department is responsible for building the new applications aimed at sanction screening or name screening. We are working on innovative IT solutions that ensure that Rabobank meets the requirements for sanction screening. In the past year, attention to this area has increased considerably and the requirements from DNB have been structurally increased in this context. To meet these higher requirements, we work together in high performing squads that connect IT solutions with all recent compliance requirements.
You and your job
We are looking for someone within the area of sanction screening who acts as a DevOps engineer, specifically with high technical level. Supervising model validations and implementing findings published from MVs and internal audit is also an important task. He or she will be part of a DevOps Squad (consisting of 8 people), which is responsible for building the new applications aimed at screening.
You are a proactive team player who immediately sees what a team needs to accelerate. You support different teams by training them and helping them to control the progress of the (software) development process. You are self-aware, you know your unique qualities and you know how to use them as effectively as possible.
- Working in a fast paced banking environment.
- Understanding end-users needs and translating these to IT solutions
- Responsible for translating FEC risk identified by global and local regulations into rule designs Responsible for design, build, test and deployment in relation to RiskShield
- Realizing new functionality and maintaining processes requirements applications.
You and your talent
- Academic background/level (IT, business administration or similar);
- Knowledge of databases, Ansible, Linux and SQL;
- Knowledge and experience with data analyses and impact analysis of data quality issues;
- Knowledge & experience with configurating (and testing) complex applications;
- Experience with Jboss;
- Experience with Azure DEV-OPS and CICD;
- Experience with renewing certificates;
- Experience with Application monitoring (Splunk, SignalFX, Grafana);
- Good command on English and Dutch;
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills;
- Solution driven thinking and sense of ownership.
What would be helpful too:
- Experience in Transaction Screening applications
- Experience in translating FEC risk into configuration
- Experience with Kafka, Python and RiskShield
- Experience with agile(scrum) and Incident and Change management;
- Knowledge related to containers (docker/podman)
