Job Overview: We are on the lookout for an outstanding individual to augment our team as a Principal Data & AI Solution Architect within our PwC Microsoft Business Services practice. You are not just a tech whiz with an intricate understanding of the intricacies of technology, but also a visionary who sees the immense potential of Artificial Intelligence in transforming businesses.
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in conceptualizing and delivering Data & AI solutions, harnessing the power of Microsoft technologies to meet the intricate needs of our varied client base. Your role is central to building and shaping our Data & AI team, driving innovation, forging relationships with strategic accounts, and attracting the industry’s brightest minds.
You will devise advanced solutions for complex business and technological issues, ensuring a deep understanding of client needs. Engaging with senior management at PwC and client sites, you will shape strategic directions, nurture client relationships, and drive advanced AI transformation efforts. Your responsibilities also include making critical decisions, setting objectives for key projects, leading diverse, distributed teams (globally and locally), overseeing sales, and identifying market opportunities for GenAI, both as a standalone and as part of integrated services.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement data driven strategies, aiding clients in recognizing and harnessing the value of AI, ensuring synergy with their business objectives.
- Steer complex data & AI transformation initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of Microsoft technologies into client business workflows, aligning with client goals and industry best practices.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and senior management to comprehend their challenges and devise AI-driven solutions.
- Cultivate and sustain strong client relationships, establishing yourself, and PwC as a trusted advisor and showcasing the transformative potential of AI solutions.
- Foster partnerships with Microsoft and other tech entities to stay abreast of evolving AI trends and technologies.
- Thought leadership, sharing your knowledge and expertise, contributing to the enhancement of our AI capabilities and methodologies.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, instilling a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous learning.
- Support business development, spot AI opportunities with clients and help drive sales pursuits.
- Uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance in all solution delivery endeavors.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in Data & AI, with a pronounced focus on Microsoft technologies.
- A proven track record in implementing Data & AI solutions that drive tangible business results.
- Expertise in Azure Databricks, ADF, Fabric, programming (e.g., .NET, Python, R), data modeling, and database design.
- In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Data & AI technology stack and a commitment to staying current with industry developments.
- Robust project management skills and experience leading distributed teams and complex projects.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A strong network within Microsoft, the AI community, and tech circles.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English.

- Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in selling Cloud-based data solutions, AI solutions, and supporting large deals.
